Javed Hashmi Joins PTI

Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, one of the most anti establishment and committed political leader left Pakistan Muslim League (N) announcing his inclusion in Pakistan Tehrik Insaf.

Javed Hashmis inclusion news were broken out first by Dr Awab Alvi of PTI when he announced some big wigs of the likes of Javed Hashmi and Marvi Memon will be joining the party real soon. Marvi Memon however denied sometime later that she is not joining any political party soon, making it clear that its Javed Hashmi making its way into Pakistan Tehrik Insaf.

Hashmis inclusion has many consequences. First, the PTIs label of being an establishments baby are pawned. Secondly, PTI first wave of Tsunami against the status quo has hit the PML N island real bad and real fast. Never would have they thought, one of the most honest and sincere party leader will be leaving for the rival party when they needed him the most.

The history of Javed Hashmi revolves around same agenda. The change he is talking about is about implementing the same agenda that all the leaders started first and then abandoned it for lust of power. Ayub, Bhutto, Zia, Benzir, Nawaz and then Musharraf, talked of same agendas, initially, to make Pakistan one of the greatest nations of the world. IJT, Tehrik Istaqlal and PMLN, all parties were tried out by Javed Hashmi but none of these made the veteran leader to get convinced.

Late night on 23rd December, PMLN senior members tried their best to change the mind of Javed Hasmi but failed. He later told the media that Nawaz Sharif didnt even bother to call me to inquire why I was leaving the party, whom I have enjoyed 24 years of loyalty.
